The college has its own on-site hair salon, which is open to the public, giving students a realistic environment to learn the skills to work in the industry and enable students of all levels the opportunity to do so.
Students work towards City & Guilds courses that take them from an introduction of the sector through to working in the hairdressing industry, from City & Guilds Entry 3 to Level 3.
We also offer in-house certificates which help to build the foundation of knowledge in personal presentation and personal care which could possibly lead to accredited courses or support students to gain the softer skills needed for employment. Students build confidence and dexterity skills to become familiar with the tools, equipment, the environment, taking care and becoming more independent.
